All Seychelles Securities Dealers Licensees must appoint a Compliance Officer, who shall be approved as fit and proper by the FSA and who shall be responsible for overseeing the licensee’s compliance function as per the provisions of section 23(2) of the FSA Act.
The FSA Code on Outsourcing of Compliance Function requires the approved person to:
- Be locally appointed/employed.
- Meet the fit and proper requirements
- Have the necessary knowledge and experience
